Welcome to my page! BIOGRAPHY INFORMATION:
I am a native Texan. I was born in Amarillo. My father was in the Air Force, so we were stationed in Ankara, Turkey and Sumter, South Carolina before being stationed at Sheppard AFB in Wichita Falls, Texas. We have lived here since 1967.I am married to a wonderful man named Loyd, and we have one child, Kristina. My parents, Boyd and Sue, and my brother, Mark, live nearby. I have nieces and nephews in the area as well. I consider myself fortunate to have my family close.
EDUCATION:
1976 - 1979 Attended Midwestern State University
1994 Graduated from College with A.S.
1996 - 1998 Graduated from Wayland Baptist University, AAS-General Business
and BSOE-Business
I always tell people I got my 4 year degree in 22 years! It's NEVER too late!EMPLOYMENT BACKGROUND:
Right after graduating from Wichita Falls High School in 1976, I worked at Sears while attending Midwestern State University. I then worked as a payroll clerk for White Stores Inc. until the company closed. My next job was at Washex Machinery Corporation, an industrial laundry manufacturer, where I worked in the accounting and sales departments. In 1993, I began working for Vernon College.If a job can be a perfect fit, this job fits me. I love working with people, and helping them to accomplish a dream. I've often said when the goal of an organization is not to make money, but to help people realize their dreams, everyone involved benefits.
